Gang assaults a man, snatches Dhs10,000 from him in Dubai

The Dubai Public Prosecution referred a 30-year-old Asian man and his runaway accomplices to criminal court, for beating a man and mugging Dhs10,000 from him.
Official records indicate that the victim was heading out of a grocery shop and walking down the street, when he was suddenly interrupted by a vehicle on the road, and a gang of seven Asians got out of the car and attacked him.
The gang brutally beat the victim using a metal rod, then hit him on the head until he fell unconscious, and robbed him of Dhs10,000 that were inside his pocket.
People gathered after seeing the brutal fight, and managed to apprehend one of the defendants, while other accomplices fled the scene.
The arrested defendant is now faces robbery and assault charges.
