The UAE National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) said that coronavirus cases are higher among males than the females.
The statement were made during a media briefing on the update on the coronavirus cases in the UAE.
The NCEMA said, “62% of all infected people are males, and 38% are females.”
The UAE Ministry of Health reported 930 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday.
The increase in cases of infection requires all of us to bring all the achievements we have made in the past few weeks with cooperation and commitment.
The balance between gradual recovery measures coincides with the responsibility of all of us, whether individuals, families, and even institutions in all sectors.
The NCEMA said, “Today, all of us as a community are required to join hands more, and cooperate more to achieve full commitment.
“For every person in contact with a positive case, an approved quarantine protocol must be applied.”
The authorities said, “Your health is our responsibility, and we in the health sector are working hard for you, so be partners with us in limiting the spread of the virus.”
