The Air Ambulance Team at the Ministry of Interior rescued an Asian man following a car accident in Al Manama in Ajman.
The directorate was alerted by the National Ambulance that a person was badly injured and would need to be rapidly airlifted.
Immediately, an air ambulance helicopter rushed to the crash site in cooperation with the National Ambulance.
The injured person was airlifted to Al Qassimi Hosiptal in Sharjah.
Last week, a SUV overturned on one of Ajman’s internal roads. The car vehicle caught fire after sometime.
Two men were injured in the accident.
The police indicated that the operations room had received a call reporting about the accident, and immediately, police patrols, ambulances and civil defence teams rushed to the scene in a record time of two and a half minutes.
Thankfully, the fire was put out, and the driver and passenger were instantly transferred to the nearest hospital to receive medical treatment.
Police investigations revealed that the driver was a Khaleeji national, and was recklessly driving at a high speed when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle drifted off the road, hit the sidewalk and rolled over causing the fire to breakout.
