UAE reports 674 new coronavirus cases, 654 recoveries and two deaths

The Ministry of Health and Prevention on Tuesday announced that as many as 86,879 additional COVID-19 tests were conducted for different segments of the society over the past 24 hours, using the latest and best medical examination technologies.

The tests resulted in the detection of 674 new cases of different nationalities, all of which are stable and receiving the necessary healthcare.

This brings to 80,940 the total number of registered cases in the country.

The ministry also announced that 654 COVID-19 patients had fully recovered from the symptoms of the pandemic after receiving the necessary healthcare. This brings to 70,635 the total number of recoveries.

The ministry also announced the death of two patients, bringing to 401 the total deaths in the country.

The ministry expressed its regret and offered its warmest condolences to the families of the deceased and its wishes for fast recovery of all infected people.

It called on the members of the society to co-operate with the health authorities, abide by the instructions and follow social distancing rules to ensure the safety of all.
