The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention conducted more than 103,124 additional COVID-19 tests in the different segments of the society over the past 24 hours.
The tests resulted in the detection of 809 new cases of different nationalities, all of which are stable and receiving the necessary healthcare.
This brings to 84,242 the total number of registered cases in the country.
The ministry also announced the death of one patient, bringing the toll to 404 in the country.
The ministry expressed its regret and offered its condolences to the family of the deceased and its wishes for fast recovery of all infected people.
It called on the members of the society to co-operate with the health authorities, abide by the instructions and follow social distancing rules to ensure the safety of all.
Meanwhile, the ministry announced that 722 COVID-19 patients had fully recovered from the symptoms of the pandemic after receiving the necessary healthcare. This brings to 73,512 the total number of recoveries.
