The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) on Tuesday said it carried out over 98,528 COVID-19 tests in the country over the last 24 hours, using the latest testing methods.
Dr Omar Al Hammadi, the official spokesman for the UAE Government at the media briefing on the updates from the UAE Government, explained that new COVID-19 tests were conducted using the latest testing methods.

He said that 852 new cases were uncovered, bringing the total number of official cases recorded in the UAE to 86,477 since beginning of the pandemic.
He also announced the recovery of additional 939 individuals from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 76,025, and no new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.
Al Hammadi continued, “Based on the updated data, 10,017 patients are currently receiving treatment in health care institutions in the country.”
