The Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management team of Ajman shut down three restaurants in the emirate for not abiding by public health conditions and violating the precautionary and preventive measures followed by the UAE to curb the spread of the COVID-19.
Brigadier Khalid Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director General of Police Operations at Ajman Police, said the three restaurants were shut down after inspecting the commercial and economic establishments to ensure their abidance by the instructions issued on the precautionary measures followed to curb the spread of the COVID-19.
It was proved that these restaurants violated the precautionary and preventive measures and did not adhere to the public health conditions, he added, noting that they were fined and shut down temporarily until they would show their commitment to the standards and requirements set for the resumption of work in a healthy and safe manner.
The team stressed the importance for all establishments based in Ajman to abide by the precautionary and preventive measures and maintain public health requirements, noting that the competent authorities will not tolerate anyone who does not adhere to the specified requirements and procedures.
