UAE residents holding residence visas issued in other emirates must have an entry approval from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) if their arrival destination is Dubai.

Whereas Dubai residents just need the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) approval prior to their return to the UAE.

Last week, the ICA announced resumption of granting entry permits for domestic workers as well as employment permits for government and semi-governmental entities and vital facilities in the country in coordination with the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).

ICA also confirmed that it would continue allowing entry of domestic workers with valid residence visas from all nationalities.
