Ten suspects kidnapped a teenager got his hands cut off, his eye gouged out, on Tuesday in Jordan’s Zarqa city. Later the arms of the boy were sent to his mother in plastic bags.
The arrests were made after Jordan’s King Abdullah II personally followed up the security operation.

Widespread anger has swept Jordan that left many in shock given the severity of the crime.
The media spokesperson for Jordan’s Public Security Directorate, Colonel Amer Al Sartawi, issued a statement in which he said that a 16-year-old boy was treated at Zarqa Governmental Hospital is out of danger.
After the video went viral in the country many took the social media and call for the most severe punishment.
“The vital signs of the boy are stable and he is in good condition despite the severe physical injuries he sustained”, said the director of Zarqa Government Hospital Dr. Mabrouk Al Suraiheen.
