Palestinian woman killed in Al Ain traffic accident

A Palestinian woman, Maha Mohammed, 33, was killed on Friday morning after the vehicle she was in had a traffic accident in Zakher, Al Ain City.
The victim, who joined the volunteer teams tasked with confronting the COVID-19 pandemic, was on her way to work when her vehicle was hit from behind, causing it to hit a lamp-post.
The victim’s family stated that the accident caused internal bleeding in the brain and lung and fractures in separate areas of the victim’s body.
She was taken to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
A funeral prayer was performed for the victim before she was buried.
The concerned authorities initiated an investigation into the accident.
