Dmitriy Stuzhuk, a 33-year-old Ukrainian fitness influencer, who believed that the coronavirus disease does not exist has died after a battle with complications of COVID-19.
His ex-wife Sofia Stuzhuk confirmed the news of Stuzhuk’s death in her heartbreaking Instagram post.

Sofia told her 5.3m followers that he had problems with his cardiovascular system and his heart is not coping. His state is extremely grave.
Dimitry Stuzhuk had over 1.1 million followers and he tested positive for the virus after a recent trip to Turkey and was subsequently admitted to a hospital.

The father of three kids came back from Turkey and told his followers that he believed COVID-19 should be taken seriously.
He wrote on his Instagram, “I thought that there was no Covid, until I got sick”. COVID-19 disease is not Epheme. Short-lived! And heavy.”
The body-building enthusiast was hospitilised for eight days and was allowed for home treatment on October 15. Next day, he died of the virus.
There are 39.7 million coronavirus cases around the world and the total mortality rate is 1.11 million with 27.3 million recoveries.
