Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, received the the COVID-19 vaccine shot on Monday evening.
Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed said on Twitter, “I thank the medical staff and the vaccinators… I wish everyone safety #Vaccinated.”
The minister also shared a a picture of him the moment he received the vaccine.
The photo received positive feedback.

Abdulsalam AlMadani commented, “May God protect you and prolong your life. We are proud of you…”
Last week, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, announced that he had received the COVID-19 vaccine.
Couple of days back, the UAE Minister of Culture and Youth, Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, said she also received the COVID-19 vaccine.
Noura shared a photo on her instagram where she can be seen receiving COVID-19 vaccine.

“Thank you Nurse Ozma, from Lahore! She’s been working in the UAE for the past 18 years,” writes the Minister of Culture and Youth.
The UAE has authorised the emergency use of the vaccine as part of the country’s measures to protect health workers in close contact with COVID-19 patients and ensure their safety, and that it was fully aligned with the regulations and laws that allow a faster review of licensing procedures.
