His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, thanked the dedicated frontline healthcare workers for their service despite Covid-19 pandemic on World Polio Day.
“On World Polio Day, we thank the frontline heroes who continue to serve their communities, despite the challenges of COVID-19. Through their dedicated efforts and the UAE's continued cooperation with global partners, we can achieve a world without polio for future generations,” he tweeted on his official account alongside a footage.
In the video it is stated that how Emirates Polio Campaign (EPC), which began in 2014, has worked on the ground and helped eradicate wild polio from the world except Afghanistan and Pakistan.
