The Ras Al Khaimah Municipality Department has directed all establishments related to health, foodstuffs and veterinary centres to follow up on their workers’ health.
The directive is aimed at ensuring their safety and to make sure they are not infected with COVID-19.
The municipality said that a periodic PCR examination would be conducted on all workers in every 14 days.
The municipality warned all the establishments to update their workers’ test results with the Public Health Department. It also urged them to inform the department as soon as a positive case is discovered in the facility. It has asked facilities to be vigilant and keep an eye for any symptoms of the disease.
The municipality stressed the importance of adhering to personal hygiene and commitment to social distancing.
It also asked facilities to carry out periodic sterilisation.
