Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulates Joe Biden for defeating Republican Donald Trump in the United States general presidential election 2020.
In a tweet on Saturday, the Prime Minister said “Congratulations @JoeBiden & @KamalaHarris. He said I Looked forward to President Elect Biden's Global Summit on Democracy & working with him to end illegal tax havens & stealth of nation's wealth by corrupt leaders.
He also said we will continue to work with US for peace in Afghanistan & in the region.
Prime Minister also congratulates Kamala Harris, as she made history with becoming the first woman, first Black American and first Asian American to win the second highest US office.
Joe Biden defeats President Donald Trump to become 46th elected President of the United States of America.
The US election committee declared the veteran Democrat the winner of the grueling campaign for the American presidency.
