UAE sees 1,096 new coronavirus cases, 3 deaths

The UAE Ministry of Health conducted 135,883 COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours. The ministry has expressed its plans to expand the scope of the tests to detect coronavirus cases in the UAE.
The ministry announced that they have reported 1,096 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 144,385.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) also announced the recovery of an additional 742 individuals from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 139,701.
The ministry announced that one COVID-19-related death, taking the country's death toll to 515.
According to the Ministry, the infected individuals are from various nationalities, are in a stable condition, and are receiving the necessary care.
MoHAP also announced 3 deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 518.
The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery, calling on all members of the society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to the instructions and physical distance to ensure the health and safety of all.
