Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) to collaborate with the University of South Wales to support the University’s new cybersecurity programmes.
The potential collaboration is part of DESC aim to partner with leading universities, international academic and research institutions.
Dr Bushra Al Balooshi, Research and Innovation Manager at DESC met with Professor Paul Harrison, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Innovation, University of South Wales.

The support that will be coming with the collaboration will be delivered from the University’s branch campus in Dubai.
The two partners will be working simultaneously to support cybersecurity research that will aid in overcoming cyberspace struggle.
This is in accordance to DESC’s cybersecurity strategy ensure Dubai’s cyberspace is secure.
Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) was founded in 2014. Pursuant to Law No. 11 and with the aim to develop and implement information security practices, it has been setting good-practice criteria for cybersecurity across the Emirate.
