A massive explosion at a fuel station in Iran’s capital Tehran left several wounded on Monday.
Video shared on social media showed a massive fire at the station.
Several fire engines rushed to site to contain the inferno.
Firefighters were seen evacuating the area and diverting the traffic.
Tehran fire department spokesman Jalal Maleki said a fuel tanker was unloading at the station at Pirouzi Street when it caught fire.
He also said the fire had been contained.
Authorities said that a person was injured and there were no casualties.
Some people were treated at the site of the incident.
A witnessed said that he heard a load blast.
Authorities said the cause of the blast is being investigated.
Residents have been urged to avoid the Pirouzi Street for the time being.
