Employee threatens to burn self, firm over unpaid dues in Dubai

A 27-year-old Asian manager was arrested and referred to criminal court for threatening to burn himself and burn down his company with benzene in Dubai.
Details of the incident indicate that the defendant was furious for not receiving his dues, and decided to head to the company’s accounting office with a benzene gallon.
Once he reached office, he threatened other employees that he is going put himself on fire if all his dues are not cleared.
The terrified employees immediately called police to tackle the situation.
After arriving at the scene, Police officers apprehended the defendant, who admitted to his intentions.
The defendant is now put on trial.
