The UAE celebrated its 49th National Day with great fervour and gaiety all across the seven emirates on Tuesday.
In Dubai, a massive yacht parade was organized to mark the event.
Around 11.30 am, more than 20 yachts embarked on a cruise. The yachts went on a circular formation with the flag being hoisted in the middle from another yacht.
Residents on board the yachts had a spectacular view of the event.
UAE citizens and residents have been urged to follow the precautionary measures during National Day celebrations to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

The authorities said avoid large family gatherings with no more than 20 people at home celebrations, while adhering to safety guidelines.
Fireworks, a much-awaited attraction of festivals and key events, were set to take place in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday evening.
In Abu Dhabi, fireworks will start on Reem Island and in Al Wathba at 9pm, for nearby residents to watch from their homes. Another fireworks display will start on the Corniche at 9:25pm, and will broadcast live on Abu Dhabi TV and Emarat TV, as well as the UAE_BARQ official Instagram page.
In Al Ain, two open-air concerts will take place at Jahili Fort on 2 and 3 December, to be streamed live on Abu Dhabi Culture’s social channels.
