Romanians head to the polls for parliamentary elections on Sunday, which is looking prospective for the pro-European liberals despite the way they handled the pandemic.
The polling stations open at 7:00 am (0:00 GMT) and will be closing at 9:00 pm.
The local media will be publishing an exit poll, the first official results will be out in the evening.

Measures such as hand disinfectant, social distancing and mask-wearing are being ensured in the polling stations to keep voters safe.
The liberal Prime Minister Ludovic Orban promised to modernise the country and keep it “pro-European” despite the growth of populists and nationalists in the region.
