A new video clip showed the first moments of the gravel-laden truck sliding toward the Omar Bin Abdulaziz Road tunnel in Riyadh.
The video clip revealed how the accident started when the heavy truck collided with a small vehicle on a slope, and then sliding towards the tunnel.
Despite the driver's attempts to stop it, the truck was pushing the vehicle strongly in front of it until it slipped and overturned inside the tunnel.
It is noteworthy that the accident caused the death of the truck driver, a Sudanese resident in his 30s.
Photos from the site showed police and health workers clear the scene.
The truck overturned and blocked the underpass.
Later, the road was open to the public.
Authorities have urged motorists to remain vigilant in the streets and insist they carry out regular car checks.

A collision occurred between two vehicles, one was carrying a Saudi family of five, a man, his wife, daughters, and the other vehicle was carrying four Pakistani workers, a local Saudi daily reported.
The accident led to a fire on both cars. The trapped occupants were charred to death.
The Civil Defence teams reached the site and doused the flames. The bodies were transferred to the morgue.
