The crew of a rescue helicopter flying over the woods near Kawarau Falls in New Zealand uncovered a group of heart-shaped trees in a small forest.
The unusual discovery, dubbed 'Heart of the Forest', is circulating on social media after the images were posted by helicopter chief Mark Tiny Cannell.
It was discovered that a man named Wayne Barnes made this work as a romantic gesture to his wife Rosie.
It was not immediately clear if Wayne or his wife were still around.
The heart is made in deciduous trees that turn reddish brown in the fall.
The heart reminds one of the man-made heart-shaped lake in Dubai.
Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum unveiled an unusual man-made lake in Dubai.
The water body can be seen at Al Qudra Lakes in the emirate.
Whoever’s idea it was, it must have won the heart. An effort of such magnitude never goes unnoticed.
