Man assaulted, robbed of all his belongings in Dubai

The Dubai Public Prosecution referred an Arab man along with his two runaway accomplices to criminal court for assaulting and robbing a man of all his belongings in Dubai.
The incident dates back to last June, when the victim was parking his vehicle and heard a knock on the window from one of the defendants.
The victim assumed the defendant was offering a car wash and immediately opened the vehicle’s door to step out, but instead he was suddenly attacked and restrained.
The second and third defendants appeared from behind the vehicle and one of them snatched the victim’s phone and wallet.
Then they all fled the scene.
The thieves stole the victim’s iPhone 11 Pro, 5 credit cards, other credentials and an amount of Dhs650.
The Dubai Police successfully identified and apprehended one of the defendants after the crime was reported.
