A man created a commotion in Las Vegas after climbing onto the wing of an Alaska Airlines plane at McCarran International Airport.
The aircraft was preparing for takeoff. A video of the incident is doing the rounds on social media.
In the video, the man can be seen lying on the wing. He then walks from one end to the other.
Policemen try to convince the man to come down from the wing.
Airport security and police personnel are seen surrounding the plane, persuading the man to come down.
The adamant man then takes his shoes and socks off and tries to climb onto the winglet of the Boeing 737 aircraft.
The man loses his grip and falls to the ground. He is arrested and taken into custody.

The police said the man was taken to a medical facility. It is believed that the man suffers from mental illness.
According to local media, the Alaska flight was scheduled for Portland. The pilots saw the unidentified man approaching the aircraft and notified the control tower.
The flight was delayed as the aircraft was forced into inspection after the incident.
The man is yet to be identified.
