Video of Ukrainian woman struggling to walk on icy street goes viral

A Ukrainian woman’s video showing her of struggling to stand on an icy pavement has gone viral.
In the past few days, it rained heavily in Kiev. Temperatures dropped to sub zero levels. This led to icy roads all across the city.
Many people struggled to cross the icy stretch, but it was one particular woman whose attempt struggle was extraordinary. A CCTV camera captured the moment.
The video showed a passerby helping the woman at first, and then she falls down.
She then crawls her way up the pavement, but eventually slides back to the staring point.
The woman beats the floor to vent out her frustration.
She again tries, but can not keep her ground.
She then tries to cross over to the other side of the road, but falls off.
The woman became a spectacle among the residents and the minute-long video earned worldwide attention.
The situation in the capital was so bad that cars were reported to have skidded in several areas.
Another video that is doing the rounds on social media was of a German diplomat. He was seen skating to work in Kiev.
Yaroslav Yemelianenko, who shared the woman’s video, said, “Ice apocalypse in Kiev. Even in the 21th century, simple natural phenomena can paralyse the city.
“But the human will to win does the impossible!
“I really hope the girl finally got home. Whole and unharmed.”
Ukrainian Emergency Services said that over the past day, 1,435 reports of accidents have been registered in Ukraine, of which 84 accidents reporting casualties or that those injured.
In Kiev, 503 reports of accidents were received, 7 are reports of the accidents with deaths or injured.
