His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has officially joined TikTok to connect with millions of his followers around the world on the new social platform.
Sheikh Mohammed took to Twitter and made the announcement. He wrote, “I officially joined TikTok, the fastest growing platform with more than 800 million users.
"We want to be where people are. We want to create positive Arabic content and we want to listen to young people and share our stories with them.”
Sheikh Mohammed shared a video that garnered over 90.3K likes and 17.9K comments.
He captioned the video, “In the UAE, I don't care if you are a deer or a lion... When you wake up better start running…”
Sheikh Mohammed urged people work hard and not to slow down with their ambition.
The Dubai leader will share short clips of his 50-year journey in public service, providing insights in leadership and management to inspire youth to create positive change in their societies.
The launch of Sheikh Mohammed’s official TikTok account comes from his keenness to connect with his followers, especially the young generation who make up the majority of the short-form mobile video platform’s audience.
