Asian man and woman arrested on drug trafficking charges in Dubai

A 29 year-old Asian man was arrested and referred to the criminal court for possessing and facilitating drugs to his female accomplice in Dubai.

Both the defendants were detected and arrested in November under the influence of Amphetamine and Methamphetamine (crystal meth) and possession of drug pills.

Drug test results indicated that the two defendants had been using drugs, and both are facing drug trafficking charges, with maximum punishment for their crime.

Recently, an Asian visitor was detained and referred to the criminal court by the Dubai Public Prosecution for smuggling 869g of methamphetamine drugs into Dubai.

The incident dates back to last July, when police learned about the defendant’s possession of drugs, and immediately carried out investigations to arrest him red-handed.

Police teams arrested  the defendant after he was found possessing 159 plastic capsules of methamphetamine drugs weighing 869g.
Drug tests confirmed that the defendant was abusing drugs, and accordingly he now faces drug possession charges.
