The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, reported 1,311 new coronavirus cases on Thursday.
Additionally, 1,495 people have fully recovered from the novel virus and 2 people passed away.
Using state-of-the art medical testing equipment, the ministry reported carrying out 138, 914 additional COVID-19 tests in the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the Ministry stressed its aim to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
So far, the UAE has recorded 198, 435 positive cases, 174,479 of those have recovered and 647 passed away.
