An 6.3 magnitude earthquake has struck the Mindoro region of the Philippines on Friday, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the quake happened at a depth of 144km (89 miles).

The earthquake was also felt in the capital region.
According to Phivolcs report, there is no expectation for damages but there might be an aftershock.
It issued no tsunami warning.
