Abu Dhabi is all set to host the record-breaking New Year’ Eve fireworks show at Al Wathba.
The Zayed Heritage Festival organizers said that this year it is going to attempt a Guinness World Records with longest fireworks display.

The Abu Dhabi Calendar, which keeps track of all the festivities in Emirate, said on Twitter, “Welcome the new year at @ZayedFestival with a fireworks show spanning over 35 minutes & breaking two Guinness World Records.
Apart from displays of fireworks and the Emirates Fountain will include the laser shows.
“Enjoy the special UAE Fountain, Laser shows, performances & many more special shows. Thursday, December 31 2020 from 3pm #SheikhZayedFestival #InAbuDhabi”
Residents can get the glimpse of the breathtaking display.
The organisers said there would be plenty of events that include heritage and international events and major mass events suitable for all family members.
Apart from displays of fireworks and the Emirates Fountain will include the laser shows.
The Abu Dhabi started welcoming tourists from Dec.24.
The Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disasters Committee said following the successes achieved by implementing the precautionary measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 and maintaining a low rate of confirmed cases, Abu Dhabi has welcomed some international tourists.
The Committee also established 18 drive-through DPI testing stations for COVID -19 on Al Faya Road before Ghantoot and approved opening of new lanes at the entry points between Dubai and Abu Dhabi as part of efforts to enhance the flow of entry into the emirate.
