Ajman Police extend 50 per cent discount period on traffic fines

The Ajman Police announced the extension of a 50 per cent discount on traffic finesand cancelled the seizure of vehicles and traffic points.
The discount offer rolled out to mark the 49th UAE National Day will now be on until Jan.15, 2021, according to their Twitter account.
The discount is applicable on all types of fines for violations committed in the emirate before Nov.23.
Major-General Al Nuaimi explained that the decision applies to all traffic violations committed in Ajman before Nov.23, 2020, except those related to driving vehicles in ways that endanger the lives of others, changing a vehicle’s engine or chassis without permission, and violating the precautionary measures adopted by the country to limit the spread of coronavirus.
The decision aims to ease the economic burdens of violators and help them pay off the accumulated traffic violations.
The discounted fines can be paid at Ajman Poice service centres, Sahl smart kiosks, the Ministry of Interior app and the police app.
