Dubai started its early sanitisation campaign to ensure everyone’s safety as they welcome the New Year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Dubai Media office posted a couple of videos on Twitter showing the disinfection and sanitisation campaign under way at Downtown Dubai.
Dubai authorities have been strenuously ensuring that the New Year's Eve celebrations are as safe as possible amid the pandemic.
The field hospitals will be managed by a team of specialised and qualified medical and nursing staff.
However, The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) established 3 field hospitals and medical teams to ensure the health and safety of community members during the New Year’s Eve celebrations as Dubai Media reported.
The field hospitals are equipped with the latest medical equipment to deal with various emergencies that may arise during the event.

Meanwhile, Dubai Municipality tweeted that “to ensure everyone's safety, it had reinforced its plan for the New Year celebrations, ensuring the implementation of all control plans and procedures in the emirate”.
It said it various sites must comply with the preventive precautionary measures.
