The Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi (ADDED) announced that shop and restaurant employees in Abu Dhabi, who have taken the Covid-19 vaccine, are not required to undergo PCR tests every 24 days.
The authorities announced in a social media post that this applies to all residents who work at restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, bakeries, malls and shopping centres, butcheries, and other retailers.
ADDED has directed the owners of the economic establishments operating in the emirate to conduct their PCR examination every 14 days, and the establishment must bear the test fees.
ADDED reminded that the Covid-19 vaccine is available to residents for free at all vaccination centres.
