The Health Ministry said that 1,963 new cases of the virus were discovered among different nationalities in the UAE.
The authorities said that 2,081 people have recovered from the deadly disease.
The health authorities reported the death of 3 patients due to COVID-19 related complications.
The ministry said that it has plans to expand the scope of the tests to uncover more cases.
The Health Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed to Almighty Allah for speedy recovery of infected patients.
The ministry is encouraging people to take vaccine jabs.

The authorities said to enhance the health and safety of society by adopting innovative treatments, the Ministry of Health and Prevention announced the availability of the vaccine against COVID19 for all.
Due to the vulnerability of senior citizens with chronic diseases, and in order to preserve their health and safety, the ministry will provide them with priority health services, due to their importance to the leadership.
The vaccine consists of 2 doses; the first is given after assessing the health status, and the second after 21 to 28 days from the date of the first dose. This has been assessed after review by the Ministry of Health and in cooperation with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi.
