VIDEO: Saudi man rescues child from floodwaters in death-defying scene

A Saudi man rescued a child after he swept away in floodwaters in Aseer Province.
Amer Bin Musa Al-Shehri, 37, told local news website “Sabaq,” “While there was a group of young men between the age of fifteen and twenty years were standing on a sidewalk adjacent to a wadi. The pavement near the floods collapsed, all managed to get out.
"I saw the young man shouting for help from the floodwaters, and I was prepared to save him at the right time and place."
A lot of people, who were present at the scene, stopped me from going into the waters, but I did not care about them.
Amer said, “I went down in the strong floodwaters, praise be to God, and rescued the boy."
He was between life and death.
Then we transferred him to the hospital.
The child is now in good health.
A photo of the incident went viral on social media showed Amer after the rescue operation, prostrating to thank God for his safety and the safety of the child.
The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection has forecast the stormy weather accompanied by active winds in the regions of Assir, Baha, Jazan, and the southern parts of Eastern province.

The quick presence of mind of the driver saved their lives. The driver was seen driving into the streams to reach the three men. He then rescued them.
Netizens have heaped praise on the driver for his heroic efforts.
