Ratih Windania, an Indonesian mother, was planning to spend the vacation with her friends, so she decided to take her children and go from the capital, Jakarta, to Pontianak, the capital of West Kalimantan.
Windania arrived at the airport and recorded a message not knowing it was her final message to the family, saying "Bye bye family. We're heading home for now."
British media reported that Ratih Windania's brother, Irfansyah Riyanto, posted the picture of his sister and her two children on Instagram with the phrase: “Pray for us,” revealing that Windania had sent the photo to him with a final comment before the accident, "Bye bye family. We're heading home for now."
Riyanto said, "The Indonesian mother used to laugh with her two children a lot. She took a selfie saying goodbye to her family, and told her friends through Instagram that she is coming, so that this moment is the last for them before the tragic end of the flight that crashed."
Windania and her two children were on board the Sriwijaya Air plane which crashed into the sea shortly after takeoff from Jakarta on Saturday.

The plane was on its way to Pontianak, the capital of West Kalimantan Province, carrying 62 passengers and crew disappeared from the radar screens 4 minutes after takeoff.
The "Flight Radar 24" showed that the plane suddenly lost its speed and altitude after takeoff.
It is noteworthy that the head of the National Committee for Transportation Safety in Indonesia, Soirganto Takhjono, announced on Sunday the location of the two black boxes of the ill-fated Sriwijaya Air plane, after a daylong search.
