Gang lures pilot to fake massage centre, gets 3 years jail term and Dhs21,000 fine

An African gang of four members were sentenced to 3 years imprisonment, followed by deportation and a fine of Dhs21,000, after they lured a pilot to a fake massage center and robbed him of his belongings.

Official records pointed out that a female defendant of the gang had lured the victim through a social media application by pretending she was an American tourist.

The defendant seduced him for a massage and some good time, and lured him to an empty place to carry out the robbery along with her accomplices.

The victim with surprised with the presence of three people other than the defendant, and was attacked and brutally beaten by all of them.

The gang held him hostage until he gave up his credit card’s password and personal belongings.

After the victim was released, he reported the incident to police and the defendants were arrested one by one after being identified.
