Asian trio jailed for stealing spices worth Dhs56,000 from Dubai warehouse

The Dubai Public Prosecution referred a gang of 3 Asians and their two runaway accomplices, to criminal court for robbing boxes of spices worth Dhs56,000 from a warehouse in Dubai.
Official records indicate that the defendants broke into the warehouse using a sharp object, and found boxes of spices and saffron.
The gang stole 49 boxes and fled the scene using a minivan.
On the following day, the warehouse’s staff discovered the missing boxes and learned about the robbery after they checked surveillance cameras.
The warehouse owner filed a robbery report, and the defendants’ identity was discovered by police within a record time.
The defendants were apprehended and referred to criminal court on robbery charges.
