VIDEO: Mohammed announces conclusion of winter tourism campaign, reveals date for next year

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday announced the conclusion of the World’s Coolest Winter campaign.
“Today the UAE government concluded the World’s Coolest Winter campaign. The campaign, which urged tourists to explore the hidden gems of seven Emirates, brought in about 950,000 tourists and has generated about Dhs1b,” tweeted Sheikh Mohammed.
Sheikh Mohammed also announced the dates for the next winter tourism campaign.
“Next winter, the campaign will be launched on 15-12-2021 in a more beautiful, comprehensive and better way after the world has begun to recover from this pandemic,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted further.
Sheikh Mohammed also thanked team of the Ministry of Economy, the local tourism departments and the media office of the UAE government for the grand success of the campaign.
The 45-day campaign was part of the newly-launched UAE Strategy for Domestic Tourism.
