Teams from Abu Dhabi Civil Defence General Directorate brought under control a fire that broke out in two furniture warehouses in Mina Zayed. No casualties were reported as a result of the fire.
The Abu Dhabi Police’s Command and Control Centre received a report on the fire outbreak at 4:02pm on Saturday.
The Civil Defence teams, who rushed to the scene of the fire, were able to bring the fire under control and started the cooling process.
The directorate indicated that as soon as the cooling process is over, the site would be handed over to the competent authorities to investigate the causes of the fire and the resulting damages.
Separately, a vehicle caught fire on Al Qudra Bridge of Emirates Road recently.
Al Barsha’s civil teams rushed to the fire scene around 7:57 am, and successfully controlled the fire.
The fire was put out in a record time of 30 minutes, and it resulted in no casualties.
