Arab employee jailed over 'WhatsApp' death threat in Dubai

An Arab employee was sentenced to three months in jail followed by deportation for threatening to kill a man in Dubai.
Official records indicate that the victim filed a police report against the defendant last December that they had an ongoing dispute.

The heated argument drove the defendant to threaten to kill the victim through WhatsApp, but the table turned and the defendant’s threats were taken seriously by the police.
The defendant was apprehended and prosecuted.
