The lucky youth managed to narrowly avoid getting hit by a train, but sadly his motorcycle wasn't as lucky as him.
The incident happened in Bharwari city in the Kaushambi district located in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
The video footage shows the impatient biker going past the level crossing and then attempt to ride across the tracks.
Somehow his bike landed up getting stuck in the tracks.
The panic-stricken youth tried to pull the bike away from the tracks but failed.
The video footage showed the man stepping away from the bike in the nick of time; within seconds the train smashed the bike into pieces.
The petrifying footage has been viewed thousands of times on social media platforms.
According to local media, police arrested the youth involved in the incident after an attempt to flee the scene.
A case has been registered against the irresponsible youth.
The footage is a lesson for all: what happens if you lose patience at a railway crossing?
We have to be very careful at level crossings. Despite numerous accidents at railway crossings, it is worrisome that people are still reckless.
Every year, lives of youth are lost after several attempts to take a selfie with an incoming train.
