The opening concert of the new season of #letsmajaz at Sharjah’s Al Majaz Amphitheatre on Friday hosted Iraqi music with legendary artistes Ali Jasem, Mustafa Al Abdullah and Mahmoud Al Turki performing their most popular numbers.
The live event sponsored by Al Arabia Radio saw the three singers entertain their fans with their biggest hits of their careers.
Mustafa Al Abdullah’s fans heard their idol belt out the ever-popular ‘Habibi Al Ghali’, ‘Mofarfesh’ and ‘Yakouni’, among others.
Mahmoud Al Turki’s sang several popular numbers including the mesmerising ‘Hob Wa Ihsas’, ‘Domini Domini’ and ‘Ya Habibi’.
Ali Jassem in his most beautiful songs: such as “Yama Yama Al Shooq”, and “Akhbarak”.
The highlight of the concert will be the trio joining together on stage to render, ‘Taal’, the monster hit that has captivated their fans across the Arab world.
Al Majaz Amphitheatre follows all safety protocols, in line with the UAE’s stringent precautionary measures to curb the spread of COVID-19. They include sterilisation of the premises, installation of sterilisation gates, and provision of face masks, among others.
Al Majaz Amphitheatre has emerged as the UAE’s popular cultural and entertainment destination, hosting world-class cultural events and concerts featuring internationally acclaimed artists and superstars from across the Arab world and around the world. From Greek musical legend Yanni to Latin music superstar Julio Iglesias and Arab heartthrobs like Mohammed Abdu, Marcel Khalife, Nawal El Kuwaitia, to Emirati music sensations Balqees and Hussain Al Jassmi, many musicians of note have performed at Al Majaz. It has also hosted a mindboggling variety of musical talents like superstar Ragheb Alama, Mohammad Assaf, Kuwaiti artist Nabil Shuail, Najwa Karam and Iraqi star Majid Al Mohandes over the past few years.
