The Saudi region of Tabuk witnessed moderate to heavy rain, thunder and hailstorms that covered most of the governorate, villages, centers and suburbs.
The intermittent rain is still continuing. Tabuk has not witness this kind of heavy rain during this winter.
The rain was witnessed after fluctuations in the Kingdom's atmosphere, and the downpour began at 10pm on Wednesday.
The Saudi General Directorate of Civil Defense had alerted according to what was reported to it by the National Center of Meteorology of thunderstorms in parts of the Kingdom's regions.
The regions include Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, the Eastern Region, Qassim, Tabuk, Hail, the northern borders, and Al-Jawf are affected by light to medium rain and strong winds.
The authorities said parts of these areas are likely to be exposed to severe rain that may lead to floods, while the regions of Al-Baha, Asir, and Jizan will be affected by moderate rain.
