UAE administers more than 4.6 million vaccine doses, tests over 27m for coronavirus

The UAE has administered 4,684,658 doses of vaccine with a rate of vaccine distribution of 47.37 doses per 100 people. The health authorities made the statement during a briefing on the Coronavirus latest development.  

The UAE is at the forefront of the world's support for the equitable distribution of vaccines to all the world's peoples, and to make it a common global benefit.

The UAE continues its wide testing in aim of tracking and reducing the spread of the virus, with a total number of tests exceeding 27 million.

A remarkable achievement to adopt a pilot model in the face of the pandemic and to mitigate its effects on society.

The wide testing efforts exceeded 150,000 per 24 hrs, with a broad response to the national vaccination campaign in various emirates, with the number of doses provided exceeded 4 million doses, in order to reach the level of acquired immunity.

The UAE has significant achievements, it has accomplished during the crisis that proves it’s to be high readiness and preparedness for this type of crisis.

Availability of vaccines is one of the biggest achievements of UAE. To all for free and in various centers, which requires everyone to take the vaccine to achieve the goal of covering 50% of UAE's population in the 1st quarter of 2021.

The transparency approach of the #UAE has undoubtedly contributed to strengthening community confidence in the government's precautionary and preventive measures.
