Dubai authorities have issued a fine to an entity for holding a social gathering, defying the anti-COVID-19 rules.
The Dubai Media Office said, “Dubai Police, in cooperation with Dubai DED, issued a Dhs5,000 fine to an establishment that held a gathering without following precautionary measures.
“Each person present at the gathering was fined Dhs3,000 for not wearing a facemask and adhering to social distancing.”

Authorities in Dubai have been cracking down on such events that do not follow the precautionary measures to curb the spread of coronavirus in the UAE.
Over the past few days, police have busted two yacht parties and house party for neglecting COVID-19 guidelines.
On Wednesday, three businesses were closed, 7 were warned and 10 were fined for not adhering to the precautionary measures set to limit COVID-19.
Dubai Economy emphasises on the importance of following the precautionary measures and urged residents to report any violation through the Dubai Consumer app.
