The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre issued a circular regarding home quarantine procedures for people contacting infected cases and incoming travellers.
According to the circular, when a person comes from another emirate and is in contact with with a positive case but vaccinated, he must remain in quarantine for 5 days, provided the test is repeated on the fourth day and the tracking watch is to be removed on the fifth day.
If that person is not vaccinated, he must remain in quarantine for 10 days, provided the test is repeated on the eighth day and the tracking watch is to be removed on the tenth day.
The circular also stipulates that if the person comes from another country, whether he is vaccinated or not, he must stay in quarantine for 10 days, provided the test is repeated on the eighth day, and the tracking watch is to be removed on the tenth day.
According to the circular, if the person comes from one of the Green List countries and is not vaccinated, he does not have to be quarantined, but he must repeat the test on the sixth and twelfth days, in case his stay in the country is extended, and there is no need to fix the watch.
The centre indicated that the test is free only for those enrolled in the home quarantine programme. They can go directly on the specified day, without an appointment or taking a movement permit.
For repeating the test in Abu Dhabi, according to the circular, persons contacting infected cases and registered in the programme can head to the Yellow Hall at the Port Zayed Centre, which provides its services throughout the week from 8am to 6.30 pm.

As for the registered and unregistered travellers in the home quarantine programme, they must go to the vehicle testing centres of Seha company, in Zayed Sports City, Al Bahia, Medina, Al Shamkha, Al Wathba and the Corniche, where services are provided from Saturday to Thursday, from 8 am to 8.30 pm, and on Friday from 10 am to 7.30 pm.
The circular indicated that test fees at private test centres are Dhs85 for those enrolled in the programme, and a movement permit must be obtained before exit by calling 024493333.
Persons contacting infected cases and travellers who are registered in the programme of Al Ain city have to head to the Exhibition Centre in Al Khabisi, around the week, from 8am to 6.30pm.
For those coming from Green List countries but not registered in the home quarantine programme, they must go to the vehicle test centres of Seha company, including Asharej, Masoudi and Al Hili, from 8 am to 7.30 pm, from Saturday to Thursday , and on Friday from 12 pm to 7.30 pm.
Persons contacting infected cases or travellers who are registered in the programme have to go to Al Dhafra hospitals affiliated with the Seha company, including Madinat Zayed Hospital, Al Silaa Hospital, Liwa, Ghayathi, Delma and Al Mirfa, around the week from 8 am to 7 pm.
Persons coming from Green List countries and not registered, must go to vehicle test centres in Madinat Zayed, Ghayathi and Al Marfa, and survey centres in Sila, Liwa and Delma. They also can go to the fever clinic in Industrial area in Zayed City, and clinics of Flu-Similar diseases, seven days a week from 8 am to 7 pm.
The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre indicated that the watch is removed after completing the quarantine period with a negative result on the tenth day for all cases, and on the fifth day for the vaccinated persons. This is done in Abu Dhabi, at the Port Zayed Centre in the Purple Hall, in the city of Al Ain at the Exhibition Centre in Al Khabisi, and in Al Dhafra Hospitals affiliated with the Seha company in the Al Dhafra region.
The centre pointed out that in the event of any symptoms or a positive test result, one must go to the nearest health centre without the need to take a movement permit or call 999.
