Gang of 3 arrested for stealing electric cables worth Dhs122,000 from Dubai firm

A gang of three Asians was imprisoned and referred to criminal court on robbery charges for stealing electric cables worth Dhs122,000, from a Dubai construction company.

Court records reveal that the robbery took place last December. The gang kept a close watch on the company and waited for the right moment to strike.

They waited until the security guard had left the company’s warehouse then broke the locks using a cutting object and stole the electric cables.

Upon his return, the security guard noticed the robbery and immediately informed his managers, who in turn reported the incident to police.

Police carried out intensive investigations to reveal the identity and whereabouts of the defendants, and successfully managed to apprehend them one by one. The defendants confessed to their crime.
