At least ten men and a boy were shot to death in an attack on a home in Jalisco, western Mexico on Saturday, a woman and another boy sustained injuries.
According to authorities, the bodies of the 10 men were found by the police on a sidewalk in front of the house. That of the boy was inside and those injured were located at a local hospital.

The perpetrators of the act were unidentified people travelling in an SUV, added the authorities.
The state is home to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, one of Mexico’s most violent and powerful. More bodies have been found in clandestine burial pits in Jalisco there than in any other state in recent years. The cartel has been fighting a breakaway faction in and around Guadalajara.
